Watercolor flowers

I recently painted these small watercolor flowers and added a leafy vine underneath as a nice final touch. I loved how the white matted frame brings it all together. My mother in law, who was the recipient, loved it which made me super happy!

FO’ SHOW – Knitted Chevron Baby Blanket

I’ve got a FO!!! (Finished Object) My newphew-to-be’s baby blanket was completed just in time for my sister’s baby shower. I’m so happy with how it turned out and will most likely make another one in a bulky weight yarn. The design and pattern are by Espace Tricot and it couldn’t be easier in my opinion. …

My latest hand-spun yarn

I am so pleased with the yarn that I spun out of these gorgeous punis from Holly of Turquoise Owl Fibers. I took 2 different colorways and alternated 1 puni from each colorway and it resulted in pure color yumminess. Initially, I was going to try to spin it as a bulky and leave it…

Newest fiber additions

Fiber Goodies from Turquoise Owl Fibers

Yarn Cakes

I don’t usually wind my skeins into cakes but I have the capability to do so and after finishing up the Polwarth/Silk fiber in color way New House (dyed by the fabulous Three Waters Farm), I liked it in skeins but I thought why not wind them into cakes? These will go live for sale…

I’m so ready for spring and all of spring’s colors and in preparation, I purchased some lovely spring inspired colorways from Three Waters Farm in First Bloom and Flowering Quince. First Bloom…
