Welcome back! It’s been a little while! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I did and was pretty busy holiday crafting. If you follow me on IG, you will have noticed this lol.
I started the Odele top in the Summer of 2019 and have to say that I, unfortunately, neglected it soon thereafter. That’s not because of my lack of interest in pattern but mostly due to the fact that my family and I moved into our new house, hence the comment above about life changes. Once Fall came around, I was preoccupied with many things…making new neighbor friends, getting the house situated and decorated, Fall ball, and then boom, it was Christmas. But I’m happy to have picked it up again and am now determined to finish it in time for the Spring/Summer seasons.
I’m at the point now where I’m knitting the outline of the sleeves for the back piece.
The yarn I’m using is Berroco’s Modern Cotton DK in the Port Judith colorway. I love this color because, to me, it’s that perfect dusty rose color.
I’m starting to think about what my next project on the needles will be…maybe another Turtle Dove…maybe a pair of socks?? Lots to think about!
Happy Knitting,
Karen
