My Watercolor Chart

I love color and how colors combine together to form entirely new colors.

I put together this watercolor color chart a few weeks ago which was not only time consuming (took me 3 1/2 hours straight!), but also well worth it.

This color chart used a total of 15 of my Winsor & Newton Artist and Cotman watercolors.

If you’d like to make a similar chart, lay out all of your paints. Then make a chart with the order of colors you want and write the names both vertically and horizontally in the same color order.  Think of it like having an x and y axis. I did my color layout  beginning with red, followed the order of the rainbow and then ended with white and black.

You can find lots of other great watercolor charts on Pinterest.
