Today celebrates the 1 year anniversary of my blog. I will say that the reason I started this blog was to get my mind off of some personal issues I was going through that really took a toll on me. I am happy to say that the issues have definitely changed for the better by the grace of God and I’m so very thankful.
My husband and I went to Penn State today with friends. What a crazy day! Over 100,000 people in the small town of State College proved to be challenging. It took us an hour and a half to get barely a mile to the tailgating field.
Prior to getting on campus, of course I had to seek out the LYS. I’ve actually been there in prior years but it’s been a while. So we made a quick stop to the LYS in Pine Grove called Stitch Your Art Out and I purchased 3 skeins of Malabrigo Twist in a deep navy colorway, a tape measure, and a crochet hook.
My husband got to go to the game with his friend but I didn’t have a ticket- I was a last minute edition. Which was fine because I got to go walk around campus and snap some pictures. It’s been about 4 years since I’ve last been there.
I was able to put a little dent in the little Lamby hat. I have to have it finished by Monday the 21st so it’s been my exclusive project these last few days.
Sometime between tomorrow and Monday, I will do the random number generator to pick the winner of 1 skein of my hand-dyed yarn based on the comments left from my October 8th post.
Good luck everyone!
Before I leave you, here are some of the pictures I took of Penn State’s campus.
Good night friends.
