On the bobbin

Here is what I’m currently spinning on my Sidekick:

This fiber is from Yarn Hollow’s sampler tin spinner’s feast that I purchased a few weeks ago from Natural Stitches.

What drew me to buying the tin was seeing it Navajo or Chain plied at Natural Stitches. It looked amazing and felt great on the skin too!

I’m having a tiny bit of difficulty at times spinning it, however, as it is a bit slippy. Maybe I have the tension wrong on my wheel which is most likely the case. I’ve owned my Sidekick now for a little over 2 1/2 months so I’m very much still a beginner. Not quite sure of the fiber but if I had to guess I’d say Merino, Silk, and Tencel?? The tin retails for $26.00 and includes approx. 4 ounces of fiber.

The hubby so graciously thought to get me a gift card to Natural Stitches for Mother’s Day (he totally read my mind) and right now he’s picking me up some more undyed fiber – love him 🙂

I don’t know what the weather is like for your neck of the woods, but it’s absolutely gorgeous here!

What’s everyone spinning/knitting/stashing these days?
