Some of my favorite knitting pod/vid casts

I’m totally addicted to listening to knitting pod/vid casts and wanted to post some of my favorites and hopefully get some comments from you as to which ones I should add to my queue.

So below is my list and mostly some characteristics that get me to continue listening to a knitting podcast is obviously first and foremost the content . I take into consideration: is the content interesting, up to date, and mostly related to knitting/spinning? Second, usually the person’s voice (kind of weird, but if the podcaster’s voice is like nails on a chalkboard- I’m not listening, sorry just saying!). Third, the length of the podcast. For the most part, I like long podcasts – especially certain ones. For instance, I can listen to the Knitmore Girls for hours on end if their podcast was that long…!

Here’s my list of faves (in no particular order):

1. Knitmore girls
2. Yarngasm
3. Lion Brand Yarn Craft
4. Never not knitting
5. 90% knitting
6. Fiberista Files
7. The Dyer’s notebook
8. Jane and Jen Knit Funny
9. Wexford Knits (close to my hometown, yay!)
10. Craft Stash
11. Retro Lemon
12. Subway Knits
13. Knit knit cafe
14. Ready Set Knit
15. Hollywood Knitter
16. Knitting Brooklyn
17. Knit picks

What are some podcasts you are currently listening to or some good ones I should listen to?

Lol, Yeah I enjoy it. The podcaster’s name is Kristen and it’s actually a video podcast. She’s based out of Brooklyn.

  2. OOo I shall check some of these out. Thank you for sharing ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I did not know there is even such a thing as a podcast for knitting. Thanks for telling me. I would like that, but don’t know much how to go about it.

  4. I was going to look you up on Etsy, but your link only goes to the general page. My store is Patterns Tried and True, but I only do crochet right now, though I love knitting, painting, pottery and a lot more.

Hmm… Sorry about that. You can find my Etsy store here:
I’ll be sure to check your store out! You and I have most of the same interests ๐Ÿ™‚
