I just checked out the Fall ’12 Look Book from Brooklyn Tweed and I absolutely love every design! I don’t think I’ve ever come across a book or book of patterns that which I’ve even liked half of them.
These designs are timeless and modern and don’t look too intimidating. *Fingers crossed*
While I have yet to knit a Brooklyn Tweed pattern, their look book is definitely pulling me in their direction.
I think my hesitation to not having knit a woman’s sized sweater or cardigan or anything Brooklyn Tweed alike has been for the fact that I think it will take forever.
And, I will say that is mostly another reason I have dreaded picking up my WIP The Big Herringbone Cowl that I’m making for my sister out of Berroco’s Ultra Alpaca.
It seemed to go really fast when I made my own (LOL) using the Blue Sky Alpaca Worsted Cotton, however, knitting this one just seems dreadful! I really love the cowl but it’s taking forever…
But, I think Jared Flood’s Look Book for this Fall is gorgeous and I want to make some of his patterns using his yarns.
Ahhh… knitting season in full force!!!
