I’m starting a new project today. It’s going to be a fair isle hat for my little guy, Carter. I’ve found a few patterns on Ravelry and have decided on the free pattern, Snowflake Hat. This hat looks relatively simple and I like making hats because they are quick for the most part.
I’m using 2 of the 5 yarns from my prior post. I chose Pearl Mist for the main background color and Silver Blue for the snow flakes.
One of these days, I will put on my big girl panties and knit a cardigan or a sweater or something of the like, but for the moment, I like my quick knits.
I’d actually like to find an appealing sweater pattern that uses a super bulky yarn. Maybe I’ll try a Wenlan Chia pattern. I’ve picked up a couple of her books from my library – Twinkle’s Big City Knits & Twinkle’s Town & Country Knits.
Or, maybe I’ll even try a skirt.
So many projects, so little time!!
