Today, my parents, Carter, and I are heading to Columbus to visit family. I, of course, always seek out yarn shops that may be in the path of wherever I travel…
With that said, there are a few yarn stores that I’d like to visit, one of which is Knitting Temptations in Dublin.
I’d also like to get some ice cream at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream. Jeni’s is handmade ice cream bliss from what I’ve heard and read. The Splendid Table had a great interview with the creator, Jeni, not too long ago. I’ve never had it before and they actually sell it in my local Giant Eagle but, it’s a bit pricey, so I’m glad I’ll have the option of trying it on a smaller scale. Jeni’s website also offers shipping with a minimum purchase of 4 pints. As far as the flavors are concerned, they all look delicious and Jeni’s offers flavors I’ve never even knew you could combine -which is exciting! Although, I think the flavor I’ll end up getting is the Buckeye – yeah, I know, real adventerous, but it’s only fitting…
So we have a little less than 100 miles to go and we decided to stop and eat breakfast at the Cracker Barrel outside the Banfield Mall.
